We're excited to get started on your migration from Accupoint 2.0 to WebABA! We anticipate a smooth transition, with a mix of one-on-one sessions as well as cohort sessions with one of our migration specialists.
Below is an overview of what we'll need from your practice during the pre-migration time, and a look into what our team will be doing on our end:
Your Practice:
- Please create a WebABA account/subscription by clicking here.
- Please create a Support account.
Our Migration Team:
- We will preform a preliminary test migration.
- We will update and prepare platform data in your current platform for a smooth migration. For example, we will update all authorizations.
- We will connect your legacy platform to WebABA for official migration.
- We will work with our clearinghouse team to enroll in electronic claims and ERAs.
During the training, each migration segment will be broken up into one-on-one or co-hort sessions, depending on the topic. The following articles in this section will give you an overview of what you should expect in your upcoming session as well as links to helpful articles and a checklist on post-session work that you should complete before your next session.

Session 1: Kick Off
This session will be a one-on-one session with a migration specialist. The intended audience for this session is the practice owner(s) and key stakeholders.
In this session, we go over the following:
- Confirm workflow requirements to solidify training needs
- Review your test migration data for any major red flags
- Tailor your future live session set-up and training needs
- Review the cohort session dates as well as their recommended audiences to ensure all relevant staff is present
- Assign preliminary pre-session work, if applicable

Session 2: Onboarding
The recommended audience for this session is owners and admins, BCBAs, RBTs, Billers and Front Office staff.
In this cohort session, your migration specialist will be going over the following:
- Validate and edit migrated company information in your organization's profile
- Validate and edit migrated billable service types
- Validate and edit locations
- Validate and edit migrated staff data

Session 3: Client Heath Records and Billing Setup
This session's recommended audience is your practice's owners and administrators, billers, and front office staff.
In this cohort session, your migration specialist will be going over the following:
- Validate and update insurers and contracted rates
- Validate and edit migrated client data
- Validate and add client authorizations and service types
Your post session work will include:
- Confirm or add behavioral assessment and diagnosis codes
- Assign staff to client and cases
- Configure calendar: Set Calendar Availability | Change Appointment Time Increments | Show Client Initials on Calendar & Alerts | Prevent Double Booking

Session 4: Set up And Manage Appointments, Documentation, and Parent Access
Please make sure everyone following along in this session has configured their calendar in the new WebABA environment prior to attending this session.
The recommended audience for this session is practice owners and administrators, BCBAs, RBTs, and front office staff.
In this cohort session, your migration specialist will be covering the following:
- Validate migrated appointments
- Add a new appointment
- Validate migrated clinical notes
- Add a progress note via the agenda
- Set up parent access via the contact network and parent portal settings
Your post-session work will include:
- Confirm completed appointments are ready to be billed.
- Complete progress notes for appointments
- If using Catalyst, verify notes are matches to appointments.

Session 5: Create Invoices and Submit Claims
The recommended audience for this session is practice owners and administrators, billers and front office staff.
In this one-on-one session, your migration specialist will cover:
- Creating invoices or submitting claims for new appointments in WebABA
- Review how to batch invoice
- Review claim statuses
- Review claim rejections and the resubmission process
- Turning on auto processing of ERAs
