Use the Client Requirements page to configure which client documents are required by insurer, and service type, so staff are warned when scheduling a client who does not have appropriate documentation.
NOTE: Keep track of client requirements actions in your organization's Activity Log: requirement added, requirement updated, requirement deleted, requirement enabled and requirement disabled.

Set Up Document Types
Before you begin to manage requirements, make sure document types are entered into the system so you will be able to track them for client requirements.
- Click Organization and Settings in the side navigation panel.
- Click Client Requirements tab.
- Click Set Up Client Document Types.
- Click Add Client Document Type.
NOTE: Click Back to Clients Requirements to go back to the Clients Requirements main page.
- Enter the Document Type name in the pop-up window.
- Select Expiration Type (Expiring Document or Non-expiring Document).
NOTE: If it is an Expiring Document, you will be required to enter an expiration date when uploading the document in the client's profile. Learn more.
- Click Save.
Set Up Client Requirements- Click Organization and Settings in the side navigation panel.
- Click Client Requirements tab.
- Click Add Client Requirement.
- Select Requirements: Insurer)(s), Service Type(s) & Client Document Type(s).
NOTE: you can select more than one option for each field.
- Enable Limit Scheduling to prevent a client from being scheduled if they do not have the documents on file or if those documents have expired.
NOTE: You can also enable the limit scheduling feature from the Client Requirements table.
- Click Save.
- The requirements display on the Client Requirements table.

Limit Scheduling
Use the Limited Scheduling feature to prevent staff from scheduling appointments for clients who do not have the documents on file or if those documents have expired. If Limited Scheduling is not enabled, staff will see the warning message but can still create appointments with the client.
NOTE: A warning message displays, informing staff what requirements the client is missing.

Enable Limited Scheduling for the Client Requirement.

Schedule an appointment with a client member.
- A warning message will appear if the selected client does not meet any client requirements that have been entered.

Furthermore, if they do not meet any client requirements, the Save button will not be active and the appointment cannot be created.
Limited Scheduling Not Enabled
a warning message displays but clients can still be scheduled.
- Limited Scheduling is not enabled when the staff member attempts to create an appointment with the client.
- A warning message will appear if the selected client does not meet any client requirements that have been entered.
- The staff member will be able to proceed with scheduling the appointment with the client and click Save.
