Yes! There are three types of Notes you can add when creating a Prescription:
NOTE: These Notes do NOT pull into AccuPoint. They can be transmitted to the Pharmacy (as directions) or stored as internal notes in the e-Prescribe window. To make medication notes in AccuPoint, you will want to create a Progress Note. All Active Medications will pull into the Progress Note.
- Additional Directions to Patient - These will be printed and given to the Patient when the pick up the prescription from the Pharmacy.
- Directions to Pharmacist - These will be relayed to the Pharmacy.
- Office Notes are internal in Rcopia (the program used in AccuPoint to create and manage prescriptions). They do not transfer into AccuPoint Manage Medications or Notes. You can manually add Notes regarding prescriptions in a Progress Note if desired.
Comments for Office Use Only is visible in Rcopia within AccuPoint.
