Understanding the WebABA Parent Portal is based on an understanding of its components – the Client Portal and Client Contact Network. Designed to meet as many scenarios as we could imagine, allowing parents to manage their dependent's appointments, documents follows 2 workflows:
- WebABA's Client Portal is setup to send intake forms and configured for Providers to manage appointments and documents submitted by parents.
- Parents are added to their dependents Client Contact network to allow them to complete and sign documents, manage and create appointments and pay bills.
The Client Portal manages the information about the Client (child or dependent) and allows an adult client or member of a dependent client's Contact network to schedule appointments, send and receive secure messages complete intake forms and receiving and paying invoices.
When using the Client Portal for adult clients the processes and workflows followed are as outlined in Client Portal Overview.
When the client is a child or dependent, parent(s) or guardian(s) are added to the Client Contact Network to access secure messages, Intake Forms, manage appointments and receive and pay invoices. To use the Client Portal as a Parent or Guardian:
- The Client (child or dependent) will have a Client Account but IS NOT invited to the Client Portal. An email address is NOT included in their Client Details.
- The Parent(s) or Guardian(s) are added to the Client Contact Network and can access the Client Portal to:
