WebABA User Community Guidelines
Pinned FeaturedWebABA's User Community is a community of real people who collaborate on answers and solutions regarding the products and industry they love — as well as discuss and troubleshoot the challenges they face. We invite you to make your mark here and appreciate your participation. That being said, we have a few rules to create and maintain a positive and beneficial environment for all community users. For everyone’s sake, we are committed to enforcing these guidelines.
Who is Welcome
Any WebABA users (i.e. if you can log in to WebABA, you belong here). The life of this community is dependent on active participation from WebABA users across all roles and permissions at your agency.
Be your awesome self
People will respect you more, engage with you more often, and treat you like a real person if you use your actual identity here. Have the courage to be you.
Win friends and influence people
Get noticed! This community is designed for discovery, direct involvement, and personal recognition. Connect with people and talk about what you care about — your passions — in a way that reflects who you are.
Have (good, clean) fun!
We’re cheerleaders for any activity that encourages the spirit of fun, so long as it doesn’t hurt other people. Please, no blonde jokes — or any words or images that come at the expense of others or are otherwise inappropriate. Be sensitive to other users around you.
Be constructive with your criticism
Foster healthy conversation and debate without ever attacking people personally. Ask yourself the question: Would you say it to their face?
Spread the wealth
Make the community a richer place by sharing your experience and insight. You may have the perfect answer to someone else’s burning question. This is the substance of an online community. It’s how you give back to the community.
R-E-S-P-E-C-T (sing it with me)
Make sure you have the right to publish any content you post to this community and don’t violate the privacy of others. It’s okay to rave about the products or services you love, but only if it’s relevant to the conversation. If you’re here to promote your company or internal agendas, your posts are likely to be removed by a moderator.
No trolls!
Troll: “a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_troll
Unfavorable Environment
If you are unhappy with this online community, please quietly detach/disengage/disconnect/separate and leave the group. Or, submit a ticket with potential changes that would help you favor this environment.
We reserve the right to immediately remove any posts that do not conform to our user community guidelines, without warning. We also reserve the right to temporarily or permanently suspend or bar a user who violates these user community guidelines.
Thank you for considering these rules, which are, themselves, carefully considered. As with any community, it’s up to each of us to create and participate in open conversations that can bring us together.
